A rare Beijing clear glass globular water-pot delicately painted on the exterior in fencai enamels with three butterflies in flight beside flowering peony issuing from rockwork.
A similar enamelled clear glass water-pot, but bearing a Qianlong mark, was sold at Christie's London, 11.6.2004,for £57,360.

Wear to footrim and very slight wear to the enamels.
